What is Faith Formation?
Faith Formation for students Pre-K through 8th grade proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ by planning programs and supporting ministries which strengthen the Catholic Faith within Saint Charles Borromeo.
The program used is: “Faith and Life Series” from Ignatius Press. The format we use at Saint Charles Borromeo is “My Catholic Faith Delivered” which is an online format. This program offers our students grade Pre-K through 8th, a thorough grounding in Catholic doctrine. In light of salvation history, students learn about the Sacraments, morality, social teaching, and the Church’s life and mission.
This program is interactive learning which includes videos, games, discussion questions, reflections and links to more information, online assessments, reports and more. This program is structured to assist the parents, who are the ones that are the primary teachers of their children’s Catholic Faith.
Our classroom sessions are held during the months of September through May on Sunday mornings after morning Mass. The normal time of our sessions are 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Everyone attending must register annually. A fee of $40.00 is requested to cover our online material upon registration.
Only families of registered members of Saint Charles Borromeo are eligible to enroll in our program.
